Kate Moss’s style and too-cool-to-care aesthetic is one that’ll always be a source of inspiration for the fashion obsessed, which is perhaps why the 42-year-old model has now made it easier than ever to replicate her look. So what’s the best way to do so?
Moss teamed up with shirt purveyor Equipment for a collection that fuses together the brand’s easy-to-wear separates with her own punch of downtown cool direction. Starring in the campaign for the fall 2016 selection, Moss opened up her Cotswolds, England, estate and models the pieces, which include lightning-print sweatshirts, wide-legged pants, and silky shirts colored with her autograph. As for how she fell in love with the brand, it’s quite simple. “My boyfriend at the time had loads of their shirts, and I began borrowing them,” she said in a statement.
In addition to providing the inspiration for the moody campaign, Moss also tapped her friends—Susie Cave, wife of musician Nick Cave, and Ella Richards, granddaughter of The Rolling Stones's Keith Richards—to star in a behind-the-scenes video that finds the trio preparing for what appears to be one epic night out.
